Extraordinary funny and clever illustrations

cow

The Malaysian artist Chow Hon Lam has made some very funny but clever illustrations that also includes a touch of irony. The artist himself thinks that even if you are an animal, an object or some sort of food, you have something to say even though you can’t speak. Therefore Hon Lam wants to create and tell their story to the worldWhen people confront him about it, he just say: “I guess they must have something to say … Trust me, I try to communicate with them!” In the illustrations you can see how a the milk in a cow’s body is emptying itself while milking, gingerbread men creating themselves, a golfer breaking the sky with his golfball, etc.

40 Most inspiring vector character illustrations

In my previous article, we saw some of the most awesome Illustrator tutorials ever made on the web. If you noticed, there were some really vector portraits as well. These vector portraits are nothing but the vector illustration of a reference photograph created using Illustrator, Inkscape or similar vector graphics tools. What makes them so amazing is the attention to detail given to each stroke in the illustration. This type of vector art requires tonnes of patience and hours of careful work.

Having a unique design is a must to get your visitor’s attention. Vector characters can establish a memorable image of your site in the reader’s mind which stands through the toughest of times.. Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop are a few of the great tools used for creating such a sketchy or hand-drawn feel. As i said, these character illustrations require a lot of skills, time, patience and apart from that, it also requires great understanding of human anatomy. Enormous amount of time goes into drawing the details like hair, face, body posture and facial expressions to to bring the characters to life. One must also look into the details of lighting, shadows and illumination.

In this article, I have showcased some of the best and most inspiring character illustrations. Click on the images to visit the source and learn more about them.

Fantasy Art – Illustrations of Elena Dudina

fantasy art

Todays main hero is talanted graphic artist from Spain Elena Dudina. Her beautiful artworks are great combination of magic fantasy and dark emotions. Just playing with illumination, colors, contrast she brings us something special. But the main thing is an idea. As she said “It’s like a puzzle. It’s a long process to make it perfect.” She creates photomanipulations for almost 2 years and already have such stunning results. Elena is definetly talanted artist. Enjoy!
